I couldn’t come up with a witty title for my blog post, so here’s to leaving it untitled.
I just want to happily share my excitement for next semester, firstly because it is hopefully my LAST semester at the Ateneo and secondly because there are just so many things going on! BlueREPERTORY will be reviving Bare: A Pop Opera – my first production with blueREP when I was a freshman! I’m going to be auditioning again, and here’s to hoping and praying I still get to give the role of Nadia justice. There were so many things about her that I feel like I didn’t get to bring out, and there are other approaches with her that I want to explore. So – Lord, PLEASE HELP ME!
The bulk of what I want to talk about though are my writing classes. This semester, I’m taking a creative writing class and a writing seminar on drama. I don’t know if it’s crazy or not to take two writing classes, but gosh, I am so thrilled! I must admit that I’m not much of a blog writer, but I’ve been writing short stories and some novels (a lot of them unfinished, heehee) ever since the fifth or sixth grade. And goodness, scriptwriting! I’ve actually been working on a script for a couple of months now, but learning about it just excites me to the point that maybe by the end of semester, that script will be finished and up for grabs production-wise. :> HEEHEE.
Anyway, I’ll be working on a couple of writing projects. After all, November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo)! I’m probably going to be working on some of my fanfiction (yes, I’m a Harry Potter FF Fan, so get over it and don’t judge me) and maybe a couple of original stuff. Hopefully, you guys can check it out on fanfiction.net – yeah, I haven’t found a better place to post my fics yet.
As much as I want to keep writing, I’m just too excited to write my creative stuff – hope you guys like ’em!
